• Nav is Principal and Managing Partner of Ideactio, a Singapore-based business & design
consultancy that specializes in designing Innovation, Experiences and Brands with clients.
• With a consultancy approach that is both intuitive and strategic Nav has advised
companies in a range of sectors like Retail, F & B, Hospitality, Attractions, Travel,
Education, Government Ministries & Boards, among others.
• He has lead projects for clients like Singapore Police Force, Central Narcotics Bureau,
NTUC FairPrice, Singapore Tourism Board, National Parks Board, RE & S Food,
SwissBake, Harry's, Singapore River Cruise, Eu Yan Sang and more.
• A firm believer in the power of empathy, that guides him to take client's needs as starting
point of any engagement, he has brought about a critical change of mindset in
organisations across sectors, whilst delivering solutions in the areas of new service
design, product development, organisational change management, and business growth

Assessor by SPRING Singapore. He plays an active role in shaping design & design

Singapore and beyond. Nav is also an Adjunct Lecturer in School of Design at Nanyang
Polytechnic.
• Nav holds a B.Tech from NIT, Hamirpur and MBA from HP University in India. He has a
certificate course on Business Model Innovation from Rotterdam School of Management,
Eramus University, Holland. He has also undergone a rigorous CEO Leadership program
with McKinsey & Co.
Mr. Jerry Chen
Managing Director of Express in Music and Audio Branding Strategist at Express Melody
• Jerry co-founded the Company in January 2009 and was appointed the current position
since then. He works closely with the team on new business projects, strategic planning,
music sourcing and licensing matters of the Company.
• Prior to forming the Company, Jerry participated in several entrepreneurship
competitions and was involved in many business case forums. He was a finalist in
Singapore Polytechnic IDEA competition, NUS Young Entrepreneur Challenge and
SHELL LiveWire business pitch. In 2009, he led to the submission and presentation of
Express In Music business plan to SPRING Singapore’s Young Entrepreneurship Startup
(YES!) and the Company was awarded a grant of S$50,000.
• As of 2014, he led the Company to more than S$1 million of funding and had since
grown it to a further 3 subsidiaries rooted in Singapore, Malaysia and China markets.
• The entrepreneur established himself in the arena of music crowdsourcing, his Company
provides background environmental music to clients such as Charles & Keith, Crocs,
Sentosa 4D Magix, Sakae Sushi for ambience sound and audio branding. Jerry embraces
the synergy between technology and music. The Company holds a patent which streams
music through cloud specially designed as a solution for retail and F&B outlets.
• He has turned his passion in music into a viable business model as he connects with
international music composers and is seen as an evangelist for original content with
strong advocacy towards independent music creators.
Mr. Cheah Chay Tiong
Managing Director of Imperium Brand Consultancy
• Cheah was the driving force behind two international start-ups in the branding
industry with Imperium Brand Consultancy Singapore and Legion Public Relations
Malaysia.
• Beginning his career in the property industry, he has branded and marketed both
overseas and local properties to investors and was invited to regularly present at
professional forums and investment seminars around Asia.
• Cheah’s interest on Brand Management and Marketing Communications Strategies
begun when he was part of a team to re-brand an international property investment firm.
• He has led and managed accounts across different industries, including technology,
consumer marketing and corporate brands.
• He has also currently serving as a Senior Partner in one of Singapore's well established
venture capital firm actively evaluate businesses around the Asian region on brand
equities and performances.
• Linking profitability to brand building, Cheah’s passion in brand management is driven
by a strong set of Asian principles and values. He believes honesty, diplomacy and
